Sitting in the quiet cubicle towards the back of the restaurant, I saw her enter with a group of friends.
They were loud, and I guessed on a celebration of some sort.
She was taller than her friends. Her dark hair was in a tight crop, shaved, maybe a number two razor cut. I love that look. It focussed complete attention on her eyes, hypnotising dark brown, with heavy black lashes. Her cheekbones were strong and oh my god, those lips.
A beautiful deep cupid’s bow above a strong pout highlighted with that almost black maroon lipstick.
Her dark skin had a sheen to it. A tiny line of gold rings ran all the way up one ear, the other held a huge gold jewelled hoop. She was totally not my type and completely mesmerising.
Confidence oozed from her. Her associates were mostly wearing girly, sparkly dresses, generous cleavages all on show, whereas her outfit totally covered her.
Her trousers were bright yellow butt-cuddling, wide-legged palazzo pants. A white shirt with massive black buttons worn open with a black skin-tight turtle-neck beneath. She owned her space in a glorious shock of personality and I guess what you’d call tom-boy chic.
I wanted to kiss those dark lips, place my hands around that slim waist. Hold that wonderful ass in my hands and feel her heat on me.
Fast forward an hour, I’d finished my meal and confused the owner by staying to have another coffee. I rarely broke my routine, but I couldn’t leave until I spoke to this woman.
She ate as confidently as she spoke. With enthusiasm. I wish more women would realise how damn horny it is to watch a woman who loves food.
I imagined sharing a kitchen with her. We’d feed each other samples from a wooden spoon while she wore one of my shirts and nothing else.
I had almost given up hope when she glanced over and we made eye contact. It was one of those electric connections where a bolt of energy shoots to every nerve ending.
She felt it.
I saw her bite her bottom lip and grab at her wine-glass to gulp a mouthful in her attempts to cool the moment.
But it happened, and we knew it.
